On my search for patterns, I began filming things upside down to detach the viewer from seeing the image as an object and really focus on the pattern. This filming upside down then became more of an obsession rather than a strategy. It got to the point where everything I filmed I had to try filming upside down to see if it would look cool. Sometimes it did.

Down with the Upside
On my search for patterns, I began filming things upside down to detach the viewer from seeing the image as an object and really focus on the pattern. This filming upside down then became more of an obsession rather than a strategy. It got to the point where everything I filmed I had to try filming upside down to see if it would look cool.
